About my Work
I was born in London and moved to New Zealand in 1999, having lived in many inspiring places and travelling extensively. The  New Zealand South island colours and energy feature a lot in my works, but my inspiration comes from a variety of places, including the eggshell techniques of Vietnam, the meticulous patterns of Tibetan mandalas, and the ochre colours of Aboriginal art. A hint of tribal art and my own mixed media inventions are now dominating my most popular works.
My landscape work is often dreamlike and melodramatic, exploring how we remember places and our emotional links to them. In my abstract artworks it is about the vibration of my feelings, as I put my own intense emotional energy onto my paintings .
